Friendship Heights TAP Application - ULI Washington

ULI Washington Technical Assistance Panel (TAP) Interest
ULI Washington is planning a Virtual TAP in partnership with the DC Office of Planning, WMATA, and the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments (COG) during the week of April 19, 2021.

The TAP will examine Friendship Heights, once a leading regional destination for luxury retail which has experienced a major disruption in its market position, exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. ULI Washington has been tasked with evaluating existing land use, transit assets and access, opportunities to increase housing options, and providing cohesive design and public realm recommendations. As this TAP will be virtual, panelists should be available to engage for 15-20 hours over approximately four days during the week of April 19th and review briefing materials and tour the site prior to the TAP.
